My husband and 3 children visited this great home in mid September of 2016. We could not have been more thrilled at how warm Lake Michigan was! Our week was perfect. The water, the sun, the stars and the full moon made this trip completely complete! Full days on the beach, and every evening a fire on the beach while star gazing. The home was really cool and contemporary. It had everything we needed. The home was very clean as well. We loved the large windows that face the lake. A few mornings I did get up for the sunrise and what a sight it was. The lake was like glass with the gulls on the water as the sun slowly rose. WOW so breathtaking and beautiful! We booked our week for the July 2017 when we got back home. Thank you for such a great time at your property.

Great beach front property
We decided to take a last minute family trip for New Year's and couldn't be happier that we chose this house. Even in Winter the view was spectacular and the look and sound of the waves made us feel like we were on the ocean. The house is only 35 minutes north of Milwaukee and just 2 hours from our house in Illinois but it had more of a door county Lake MI look and feel. We plan on returning this Summer.

Beautiful, Relaxing , Private and Peaceful
Absolutely love this home , especially because I brought my 88 yr old Mom along and since it is all on one level and literally on the beach, it was perfect for us. We fell in love with Oostburg a few years ago and have stayed at numerous pet friendly homes but this is by far the best place to bring your four legged friend. Just a couple of steps to the beach, a great deck right on the beach and an awesome side yard for playing catch, made this the ideal home for us. The house is clean, well maintained, comfortable and functional with great views. Julie is great to deal with and it is evident that she loves this home. We didn't do much sight seeing since this was not out first trip to Oostburg but the State Parks in the area are great to visit. The one place we do visit almost daily while there, is the Oostburg Bakery for some delicious cranberry orange muffins and scones. We cleaned them out of scones and muffins before we left. If you are looking for an almost completely private beach, where you can take long walks and enjoy the views, this is the perfect spot because you can't get much closer to the beach and the lake. My Lab Max loved playing catch, swimming and playing with Julie's dogs one afternoon, especially Poppy. Great host, great house, great beach and great everything!

Beautiful Lake Michigan Views
My family, all adults (4) stayed at the lake house for wonderful 7 days. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the sunrises, myself and my husband are early morning people, so the views were spectacular. We also enjoyed the beach walks, and swimming. We took a day trip to door county, worth the ride, had lunch and did some shopping. Kohler State park had trails for all. Will be returning to this home again, easy access, close to lake, no big stairs to navigate. Loved it. Patty

Such an amazing family vacation home!! Loved every
We loved this vacation home for our family and friends. The access to the soft sandy beach is unbeatable. The big windows make the views just incredible. The sprawling deck is so enjoyable and you can't beat beach camp fires at night.| This is truly our favorite vacation home yet. We had a 1 yo, a 4 yo and 6 yo at the home and it worked perfectly for them. We spent every waking moment we could at the beach. The only downside is the kitchen/cooking accommodations are a bit sparse and with no dishwasher means paper plates for a whole week.

Whether building sandcastles on the beach or enjoying a glass of wine while beholding the ever changing moods of the mighty lake on our expansive 3 tier deck, you will be drawn back year after year.
We are just 30 minutes north of Milwaukee and 20 minutes south of Kohler WI,Home of the world renowned, Whistling Straights, The Irish course, and Black Wolf Run courses. Blue Harbor Indoor Water Park in Downtown Sheboygan Elkhart race course just 20 minutes west of our home. Hikers can also enjoy the vast beauty of Terry Andre State Park just 15 minutes north . The home does not have internet service, however a hot spot works great we suggest you bring one if you care to be connected with the internet.
