Loved our stay at the Cozy Bear!!
This cabin was just the right size for my husband and I and our two dogs. The first night we were visited by momma bear and her 5 cubs. It's nestled in the mountain. We enjoyed our evenings suiting in the hot tub. It's only about a 10 minute drive to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and that is mostly driving down the mountain. The cabin has everything you will need!! We look forward to returning soon!!

Cozy Bear was wonderful!
We had the best time at Cozy Bear. Great weekend, perfect location, and oh so cozy cabin! Weather in August was fantastic.

Perfect Little Slice of Heaven
Let me begin by saying, it was the comments in these reviews that persuaded us to chose this cabin over others we were considering in the area, and we are so glad we did. Nearly every one of them goes on to praise Karey for being so easy to work with and that is no understatement. She was kind, accommodating and stayed in constant contact from booking until we were checked in and cozy. The cabin its self is simply beautiful and has been well taken care of and charmingly decorated. Directions were easy to navigate. The road on the way up was a little challenging for my 4 cylinder SUV so do be aware of that if you are traveling in the winter or with a heavily loaded vehicle. The kitchen was well stocked (even had champagne classes for our anniversary toast!) Only item we would have used had it been available was a cutting board. A plate was an easy fix. The charcoal grill out front was basic and simple and charcoal was provided. The hot tub was clean warm and oh so nice! Even during our late July stay. The bed was amazingly comfortable (we even tried to find out where the comforter was from to order for our own home). The pool table is well cared for, a few nicks in the balls but nothing that made playing impossible. The washer and dryer were very convenient (however the dryer is extremely loud, we only used it while we were out on the patio). The living room couches were also soft and inviting and had access to plenty of TV channels as well as fast WiFi. There are neighbors directly to the right and also behind the cabin but with the tree coverage they were never seen and only seldom heard. Lastly, we were fortunate enough to bring our fur baby which was a HUGE plus. We did encounter a bear on the drive home so do mind leash recommendations. I would without a doubt rent The Cozy Bear again and look forward to working with Karey in the future.
