Minimum StayBeautiful place to relax
This house was among the cleanest and well-appointed in which we have stayed with our five kids. It was convenient to the many great restaurants of Asheville and yet felt very private. The weather thwarted our hiking plans, but we had a great time relaxing in the house with games, books, ping pong, and puzzles, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. It was the perfect place to relax. The rental process was seamless.

Amazing House, Minutes from Downtown Asheville
This house is stunning -- the architecture, interior design, layout, location, amenities, etc., etc...all fantastic. Our group was traveling to Asheville for a weekend and looking for something ~10-15 minutes from downtown, but far enough away that it offered some sense of seclusion and remoteness. The Ledge House was the absolute perfect solution. A wonderful confluence of modernism, minimalism and luxury....and spacious, inside and out, so it's wonderful for slightly larger groups or families. Above all else, it's clear that The Ledge House was built to showcase and respect the wondrous nature amidst which it is so fittingly nestled. We cherished the time we were able to spend there, and look forward to returning many, many more times.

Convenient but away from the crowds
The Ledge House was perfect for our work conference at the Grove Park Inn. We didn't want to stay with the crowds at the Grove Park. The house was convenient enough to downtown, grocery stores, etc., but felt like it was on top of the mountain. The ping pong table provided hours of entertainment. The house was very clean and modern, and it had everything we needed.

Nature and Luxury in one place
This is a once in a lifetime experience. The Ledge House has room for coming together and private time. What a great retreat for a family get together or a private time. The location on high is inspiring; the amenities inside are minimalist yet complete. We had time to explore, meditate, enjoy the hot tub, ping pong table, and cook the excellent local produce. Hiking in DuPont Forest was amazing as was visiting The Biltmore Estate. Wandering around Asheville was great as was eating in the eclectic restaurants. The Ledge House is a place to return to over and over again....in every season.

Located in one of Asheville’s most desirable areas, the view is long range, and always changing with the light and weather. And yet, you are just 8 minutes from downtown Asheville. This will be a stay to remember!
The owners do not permit events of any type, or size, to be held at their home.
From the moment you drive up, the architecture of the home grabs you. As you enter through the single hinge pivoting 10 foot front door, you are taken by the vaulted ceiling, clean lines, and sense of space…come in and make yourself at home! There are windows galore allowing you to view the scenery unencumbered by window treatments.
Beautiful solid wood floors are only complimented by the equally beautiful wood ceiling with exposed beams, and custom woodwork throughout.
The great room open floor plan is where all the action will be. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, 6 burner gas stove, beautiful concrete counter tops, and custom cabinets. There is loads of pantry space! The dining table seats as many as 10, with 4 additional stools at the kitchen island.
Make yourself comfortable in the living area with wood burning fireplace, and watch the light change on the view, enjoy a movie, curl up with a good book, or for some conversation. The 2 sets of sliding glass doors lead out to the deck where you can continue to soak in the view, with 2-person hot tub.
The excitement doesn’t stop at the great room…all the bathrooms look as though they were taken out of Architectural Digest, with radiant floor heating. The stairway to the lower level is cantilevered, as is a portion of the great room. Want some quiet time? There is plenty of room to find your own private space.
Have a ping pong tournament in the game room off the lower level TV room, or after a day of fun and exploring, gather everyone around the fire pit and watch the stars fill the sky.
