Awesome Historic House!

This house was amazing. We had a large group of 13 and it was easily enough room for us all. My favorite spot was the outdoor gazebo area on the front porch. It was an easy walk downtown, about a mile to the breweries. Shirley, the owner was great and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Relaxing Porch!

We loved our stay! Shirley was a gracious host and took the time to show us around her lovely home when we arrived. This house is an oasis in Asheville. It was an easy .7 mile walk to all the restaurants downtown. In the afternoons we could escape the crowds and relax on the porch swings in the cool breeze. We had a total of 5 kids in the house between the ages of 2 and 8. We were very concerned about the kids and all the antiques during the stay. I would recommend this house to families who have older children or those with kids who won't break things. There is a wonderful yard for running around. Great house!

Great location, comfortable.

House has a great location to town. The front porch made for a great gathering place. The size of the home was great for the 8 of us. Shirley was a wonderful person, and was a pleasure meeting her, as well as staying in her lovely home. I would highly recommend this place for any family get together.

Wonderful home for large groups

The home is nearby downtown Asheville. It has a large porch that is great for hanging with friends. Shirley is very attentive and pleasant. The home is older and has lots of character. I highly recommend.
