We had a group of 10 stay here and it fit everyone perfectly. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable. Our group also loved how easy it was to walk from the house to various locations throughout the city. Being there over Halloween weekend, we wanted to avoid paying for cabs/ubers and it was easy to do with the location of this house. It was a 10-15 minute walk to Bourbon Street and 10 minutes to the main bars on Frenchmen. The owners were great as well! They provided great recommendations on places to see and awesome restaurants and bars. Overall, it was a perfect stay!

Great great time, it's about a mile walk from bars, $4-5 for an über. House was awesome, we had 12 guys, could easily put 16 dudes in there. It was nice showing up and having the refrigerator full of water, beer, an sodas. The whole house was clean and had everything possible. Neighborhood was safe and neighbors were nice too. I will be back for sure!!!!!

Stay like a local AND be near all of the action in this best-of-both-worlds location. Perfect spot for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest and all other holidays and festivals. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, but we can change the bed configuration to make it a very comfortable space for all groups from 6 up to 14. This beautifully renovated 1870's Creole Cottage is in the funky Faubourg Marigny, 3 short blocks from the French Quarter and 2 blocks from Frenchmen Street on what was formerly known as Old Bourbon Street. The whole house is yours.
The 500 sq. foot open planned top floor sleeps 6 very comfortably across 3 queen sized beds and also has a private balcony. The master suite, complete with a brand new bathroom, is on the first floor and has a queen sized tempurpedic bed, walk-in closet and direct access to the deck which overlooks the large backyard. The third bedroom, which has its own private entrance, is also on the first floor and has one queen and one full sized bed. There is one very comfortable sleeper sofa in the living room.
Guests benefit from 3 full bathrooms, two of which have been recently renovated, allowing a comfortable stay for up to 14 people.
The large kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you need, some snacks and coffee. Brand new ductless A/C keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Washer and dryer, dishwasher, cable TV and Wifi all included.
The house is full of old reclaimed wood, history and character. During the recent renovation much of the original heart pine floors and barge board were reclaimed and used for cabinets, trim and architectural elements. As you can see in the pictures the kitchen has reclaimed heart pine cabinets (the original floors). The house, built in the 1870's was made out of cypress barge boards, many of those have been reclaimed for the posts in the living and dining room.
The house is three shades of purple on the outside yet 'green' on the inside. Solar panels provide much of the electricity, there is an on-demand water heater (the three showers ALWAYS have hot water), and energy saving appliances and lights throughout the house.
