Home Description

Before, I normally look on a case to case basis The longer the stay, the lower the per diem and vice versa! I love to communicate with the traveler, so I can answer all their concerns/questions and talk heart to heart. Sometimes, when the subject property is not available, I would discuss other opportunities on nearby units that is comparable to the one they are inquiring about. Try me...... all travelers I helped before are very happy with the place and with my service. ALOHA AND GOD BLESS.

Better than the description

Our family stayed at Leonor's condo for 9 days. Our kids are 15, 16, 17, & 19yrs old. The pictures posted are accurate, 5 beds and a pull out couch. Extremely clean, nicely decorated and roomy. We really felt at home as everything you would need is available for use including: beach towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards, coolers, beach chairs, beach buckets/shovels etc. Also, a portable crib in the master bdrm closet. Kitchen is fully equipped and we did cook on the gas grill outside. This is located in a gated community. Basically a small village approximately 2 miles long with 4 incredible man made lagoons, 3 hotels (one being a disney resort) a small shopping plaza, a preschool, an incredible golf course, a marina and a small cluster of condos located in a small area on either side of the street. Traffic is minimal, mostly golf carts coming and going to and from the lagoons. The condo is 1.4miles to the marina and the fourth lagoon. There is a reasonably priced super Walmart in a shopping plaza within a short drive that we bought our groceries at. We ate at an outback steakhouse which was good, close to the plaza. Every place we went I highly recommend: Polynesian cultural center luau. Goes from 12pm to around 9pm. Food and entertainment well worth the price. Hanauma bay for snorkeling. costs about $7.50pp. A must if you like to snorkel but get there early because parking is tough. The North shore, very popular with the locals. Big waves for boogie boarding. Bellow's beach. An incredibly clean, quiet military beach open to the public on Sat. & Sun. If the sign says "public beach closed", ignore it and just proceed to the beach. If you follow it to the end you will come to the military guards. just park before you get there. This is the beach President Obama visits. Clear aqua water and powder white sand. Snorkel/dolphin excursion at the marina. Loved every minute of it and we were given lunch at the end. Every morning we walked to the lagoon to watch the sunrise then back at the end of the day for the sunset. It was really hard getting back on the plane to leave. Leonor is wonderful, easy to reach and very trustworthy. I highly recommend this vacation spot. Your honestly not going to find anything this nice with its beautiful, quiet location anywhere else for the price. If busy is what you like than you can always drive to Waikiki, it's like a beautiful NYC. But I would not recommend staying there!

Great week in Ko Olina

We had a great time and the townhouses were wonderful. Our family of 7 adults and 3 children (7,8, 10) split the two residences with 3 adults in one and and 4 adults and 3 kids in the other. The larger place probably could have housed all ten of us , but for Grandparents and older daughter it was perfect. The houses were clean, comfortable and well stocked with towels, snorkeling equipment, portable lounges, and boogie boards. The townhouses were located on opposite ends of a short street/ court which was quiet the whole trip. The pool mentioned was a 3 minute walk down the street. The pool was salt water and 4' deep max which was perfect for our children, they loved it. For adults out for a tan, there were plenty of lounge chairs as well as a gas BBQ. * Note: you must register with Frank the pool manager when you use the pool to get your key Fob activated to open the pool gate for your stay there. See him between 8:30 - 4:30. Just push the pool button and it rings his cell phone. Our owner also had available a golf cart ( $20 per/$100 per wk.) which was invaluable although we only got 4 days use out of it. The protected lagoons by the hotels ( 4 of them) were great for the kids. We used the townhouses as a base to travel around the area and it was nice not to worry about paying to park. Honolulu was 20-25 minutes away, North Shore about the same and freeway traffic not bad if you avoided the commute times ( sometimes not possible) We ate at some good places. Nearby Monkey Pod restaurant is good but pricey, Roy's very pricey but excellent. For the families, Daiichi Ramen next to Foodland in Kapolei was a find . Huge portions( one order big enough for 2) at a reasonable price, Koa Pancake, Side Street Inn in Honolulu was great for individuals or families ( Great Pork Chops) , Aloha Salads was good, Foodland for Poke' ( good $), and many good shaved Ice places ( my daughter knew all the best ones) There are other good places, just use Yelp which is generally accurate. Make sure you bring suntan lotion and bug spray( the mosquitos, not a lot but annoying early and late) Would we come back . My grandson, (7) said it best, "Ojichan( grandfather), I have a good idea. Let's come back every year" Well, Not every year , but we will be back! The Nakamuras' from the Bay Area, California

Great Rental!!

We rented this property for a family vacation for 7 adults and 2 young children. The location of the property is fairly close to the Ko'Olina Lagoons and just a short walk to a wonderful golf course. We were able to enjoy the calm waters of the lagoon with our 2 year old and 6 month old and my golf loving parents were able to play on the Ko'Olina course on two different days. The property itself was clean and included a lot of extras such as sand toys for my daughter, beach chairs/mats, umbrellas, charcoal and gas grill, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and so much more. It was so nice to have everything we needed. We enjoyed the uncrowded pool and appreciated the quiet neighborhood the townhouse is situated. Leonor, the owner, was very easy to get a hold of and checked in on us to make sure we were happy with the property. I highly recommend this rental; it was just the right price and was the quiet location we were looking for.

Nicely furnished, great location

A group of my friends and I stayed here for a week and the place has everything that was needed. From boogie boards to snorkeling gears and other beach goods we couldn't ask for more. There's more than enough towels to go around without having to wash them everyday. The best part of this location is it's next to the four man made lagoons in the beautiful Ko Olina which is perfect to relax on the beach that is literally minutes away. The lagoons are breath taking and you can check out the many resorts there as well such as the new Disney resort. Leo is the sweetest person, she made sure if we have everything we needed and made our stay very welcoming and comfortable. I would definitely work with Leo again the next time we visit Oahu.

Very Nice!

This was a wonderful place to stay. It is in great condition, very well maintained, and it is the perfect place for a small family. The overall property is well maintained, and the pool was an enjoyable spot to relax or cool off. We would highly recommend this property for anyone who still wants a feeling of a "home" when they are on vacation. Finally, the property manager was wonderful to work with and very accommodating.

Just what we were looking for!

My husband and I are local, but needed a place away from all the tourists of Waikiki for my Mainland and out of town guests. We rented from Leo and Naty during our wedding week. As with any bridal preparations, I needed as little worrying as possible. Especially for other people's tardiness. This place is perfect being in Ko Olina. My bridesmaids and family members were able to get ready for our wedding and be close enough to our actual wedding hotel room at Marriot. After the celebrations, my guests were able to enjoy their stay. They went to Aulani and Marriot resorts, and Paradise Cove luau and the beautiful lagoons only 2-5 minutes away. But on days when they only wanted to dip in the water without being covered in sand, it was just a quick walk to the pool. What a great feeling to soak in the Hawaiian Sun! Naty and Leo are very accommodating. We needed to come in the day before to present a welcome basket for our guests, and they allowed us access to the property. They have rules, just like any one else's home. The only down fall, I couldn't use the internet... or I just didnt know how to connect to it. LOL. This is definitely a great place for couples with kids, or a small group of friends or family. Or elderly folks or anyone else if you want to get away from the Waikiki wild and busy-ness. Waikiki is only a half hour drive away if you want to experience that for a day, but dont want to sleep in it. Waikele is about 15 minutes away to do all your outlet shopping.. And Target, Kmart, Costco, Safeway is an exit or two away. Pretty convienient. This is definitely a great housing way to experience Hawaii! Has all the amenities of a home. A full stocked kitchen, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, flat screen tv, Garage parking and driveway parking. A pool! OHHH And a washer and DRYER!!! Why deal with a fussy hotels, and you don't even know when they last washed the sheets :) Aloha!
