This gulf front rental in Barrier Dunes (we offer 6 direct beach fronts) has 3 direct beach front decks for watching the dolphins swim by or an amazing sunset.
Shore Thang is 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms (we also have 2-2BRs w/Super Loft with twins that are direct beachfront). There is a fabulous views from just about every room of the Gulf and the beach.
The main living area is spacious, updated and well furnished with a large deck for grilling your catch of the day.
It is pet-friendly and dogs are allowed on the beach. Cape San Blas is regularly ranked the best pet-friendly beach in the US!
There is an outside shower to rinse off in the carport and another shower on the deck.

Barrier Dunes is a gated community with boardwalks connecting you to the beach and other amenities. There are 2 swimming pools(one on the Gulf and the other is by the tennis courts and is solar heated), 3 stocked ponds to fish or feed the turtles, 2 lighted tennis courts, children's playground, club house, pet stations & boardwalks through.
The community and beach are very dog-friendly. Barrier Dunes sits right next door to St. Joe State Park (2500 acres) which has boat ramps. You can park your boat underneath the unit. Barrier Dunes is a very friendly community.
In 2002, Dr. Beach ranked it the #1 beach in the United States. The beach has numerous sand dunes, sugary white sand, turquoise/emerald water and a serene setting.
There are no high rises on all of Cape San Blas, giving you uncrowded beaches and no traffic jams on the roads. This is an undiscovered gem on the forgotten coast of 'Old Florida'.
Cape San Blas is 20 miles long (of which St. Joe State Park are 10 miles of the 20) and at it's widest point is a mile across. The Gulf of Mexico is on one side and the tranquil waters of St. Joe Bay on the other (making it great for kayaking and canoeing).
Cape San Blas is east of Port St. Joe and 25 miles west of Apalachicola. It is about 50 miles east of Panama City and 110 west of Tallahassee.
