Located in west central Florida between Tampa and Sarasota, Anna Maria Island is a tropical getaway that is just now being discovered! Great fishing, boating, shelling and swimming - we offer it all.

For the boater/fisherman: fishing piers, excursion boats, boat rentals and charter boats are available. Rent a jet ski or kayak, go for a parasail ride or scuba dive - there are so many options! Marinas are located around the island or bring your own boat - ramps are conveniently located and the fishing's great!

For the beach goer: Anna Maria is seven miles long and offers peaceful, white sand beaches running the length of the island. Take a walk, find some shells, get some sun or just relax on our beaches; they're spectacular.

For the explorer: From the north end of Anna Maria to the south tip of Bradenton Beach, treasures are to be found on our beautiful island. Explore the shell-lined shores on the beach or bird-watch over the bay. Stroll our island to your heart's content or rent a bike and take advantage of our many bike paths.

For the shopper: Anna Maria offers many different kinds of quaint beach shops, gift and dress shops. No car required - our free island trolley can easily transport you all over the island! For more 'extensive' shopping, two outlet malls are located by I-75.

For the whole family: Theme parks are located within two hours from Anna Maria. Spend a day at Disney World, Busch Gardens, Cypress Gardens, Mote Marine or Sarasota Jungle Gardens - they're too numerous to list! Museums, botanical gardens, state parks abound and make great day trips. During February and March, see the Pittsburgh Pirates play at McKechnie Fields in Bradenton.

For the golfer: The Manatee and Sarasota area offers close to 50 courses - from executive par threes to challenging championship 18 hole courses.

We could go on and on - the beauty of Anna Maria Island has to be seen to be appreciated. The recreational activities are too numerous to list and the weather is too fantastic to believe! Come see for yourself!

Great Rental, Great Location

We spent just over 2 weeks here and had a great time. We couldn’t have picked a better location, it’s so central to everything. You really don't need a car and we used ours very little. There is a good choice of shops restaurants, cafes and bars less than a five minute walk. You can walk along the beach to even more. I don't think Publics is much more than a 15 minute walk but who's counting when you can walk to the supermarket along the beach and then catch the free trolley back if you buy too much. The most beautiful beach is just a very short walk to the end of the street. In fact its so close that you don't need to take drinks etc. to the beach, you just pop home for a lovely cold drink or a bite to eat and we left our chairs right on the beach. The house itself was very clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable with everything you need for a perfect holiday. We had a minor problem with the AC. Norman arranged for someone to take a look within an hour of us contacting him and the repairman arrived first thing the next morning with a replacement part. This is our first visit to Anna Maria where we have not had a pool and we will never bother with one again. You can swim in a pool anywhere but the beach is unique so make sure you make the most of it.

Wonderful location to relax

My vacation here was great, other than the weather. It was unusually cold but still sunny. The place was in perfect condition and everything you could need at a rental property. It is located on a dead end street which was perfect, easy walk to the beach and few cars to worry about. Owner had some very good suggestions on restaurants and activities. I will definitely be back, even if the weather is less than perfect. The trolley on the island made it easy to get to places for shopping and restaurants that you might not want to drive to. Can't wait to go back.
