adorable cabin

We came for a mini break and it was perfect. We watched rain and storms from the covered front porch, hiked the hills behind the cabin, stared at the creek, and enjoyed the cozy wood stove at night. We didn't leave for two days. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Amazing Clear Creek Cabin

Great cabin and great location with many activities to do very close by. Loved the hiking trail behind the cabin. Went white water rafting, horseback riding, rock climbing and to Mt. Evans. Would definitely come back again.

Beautiful cabin and property

First, let me say the pictures on this site do not do this cabin and property justice. The cabin is beautiful inside and very spacious. It is tastefully decorated and is supplied with absolutely everything needed and then some. (Laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, coffee/tea, shampoo/conditioner....the list goes on and on) The master bedroom and bathroom were the perfect size and our 8 year old LOVED having the huge loft all to herself. The front porch was the perfect spot to sit and watch the water when it rained and the key-less entry was a bonus because there were no keys/card to have to keep up with. My family came up from Denver for dinner and could not say enough about what a gem we had found. Second, the property. So wonderful! We slept with the bedroom windows open every night to hear the creek. There are several good places to fish from along the creek and while we saw fish in the water, my husband only had a few nibbles. The creek-side patio is perfect and I sat down there every morning to drink my tea and enjoy the creek and wildlife. Unfortunately, there was a fire ban while we were there so no evening fire in the chiminea. Quick drive to Idaho Springs and easy access to the rest of the mountains that I love and miss so much! Finally, communication with the owner was excellent. He sent reminders, tips and answered questions immediately. Every detail has been considered and we could not have asked for a better place to spend our Colorado vacation.

Colorado Rockies Cabin

We stayed at Arapaho Cliffs Log Cabin in June 2017. It is a great location to make frequent trips to Mt Evans. The mountain goats that frequent the 14,000 ft peak have kids this time of year and they are a delight to watch and photograph. The marmots and pikas are a plus for the nature lover and photographer. This cabin is wonderfully appointed but is close to the restaurants of Idaho Springs if you need them. The owner is great to work with and the cabin is highly recommended.
