Being greeted and given a tour was a wonderful introduction to your cottage. This is our very first experience and WOW, Tami has set the bar exceptionally high! This space is magnificent. The cool breeze and sounds of the birds in the morning is absolute perfection. We loved every moment here, (and even revisited an old childhood board game, Sequence!) Thank you for providing such an incredible experience.

Exceptional!
I've stayed in many places and yours is EXCEPTIONAL. Tastefully decorated, spacious and warm. I woke to sunlight streaming in through the windows and the sounds of birds chirping in the trees. Thank you for your hospitality! My girlfriend and I loved it.

Perfect for us!

Beyond our Expectations!

The renovations look great and everything in the room felt like our home away from home. From the comfortable bed, cozy couch, and cute furnishings, even the accents in the room were perfect. Wonderful Stay
A quick but wonderful stay between work trips, Tami was beyond accommodating and even waited for me to arrive as my flight was delayed until 1am! Her hospitality extended not only to me but she also accommodated the 40pounds of fish I had brought back from Alaska! It is very quiet, private, comfortable and clean space I will definitely stay her again if it is available.

Beautiful Place
Tami’s cottage is a beautiful place to stay. I was in town for my son’s band tournament. Tami is a gracious hostess and has a flare for decorating! The room had great a/c, a colorful & happy atmosphere, and she thought of anything we possibly could have needed. The king bed was super comfy. Highly recommend!

Blown Away!
Just close enough to San Diego but also secluded and homey. Our host greeted us and gave us a tour and introduction to the cottage, she was very helpful and kind. Upon walking into our private patio we knew it would be a wonderful experience but our expectations were blown away when we went inside. It’s the perfect space for a little getaway with all the touches of home if you’re looking to settle in for longer. This quaint beach cottage became our home away from home and we are so happy to have found Tami’s wonderful space she has created. I highly recommend this place to everyone and the next time we’re in San Diego, we will be coming here for sure.

Perfect!
The place was perfect and as described. Recent renovations were well done. Has an ac unit which was a huge added plus since there was a three-digit heat wave when we checked in and out. Very comfy bed. Tami was very responsive and provided a welcome basket with waters and delicious breakfast pastries. The Keurig coffee varieties were great too! The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy the dinner we brought with us. Very private entrance and patio. Street parking right in front and quiet neighborhood. We would have loved to sip our coffee outside if we had picked a cooler weather weekend. Thanks, Tami and we will book your place again if we are in the area.

Best I've Seen
This B and B is the best one I've ever been to and I'm not just saying that. I've been to a lot of places and truly, this cottage is exceptional. It's spacious, clean, and very casual. If I ever come back to S.D. I want to stay here again. I just hope she will have vacancies on the calendar. She's done a great job considering her guest's needs. Thanks, Tami!

Private Studio with 560 Square feet of open space. Newly renovated with private patio and keyless entry. Surrounding privacy fence ensuring you lots of time to just relax and be you. Basically, the whole studio area is yours to enjoy. My guests have loved the space and have left glowing reviews in my guestbook. The studio is complete with brand new furnishings, new linens, new dishes. Includes stove/oven, microwave, Refridgerator with freezer, coffee pot, air conditioning, heat, pots and pans, Wifi ...everything you need to feel right at home. Private bathroom. I provide fresh linens, extra blankets, and pillows, anything you need to feel comfortable. The furnishings (couch and lounge chair) turn into children's beds and the main bed is King size. I have put a lot of thought and effort into making your stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. The room also includes a dresser and mirror, a blow dryer, hangers in the closet, and an ironing board and iron. I also provide coffee and creamers, a welcome basket with some pastries for your first-morning wake-up. The room is decorated in a light and airy beachy vibe but warm and welcoming at the same time. My rental does not disappoint. I hope you will consider booking with me. I've been hosting and in the hospitality business for over two decades and I love it.
About The Area
The area where my studio is located is near the 8 and 52 Freeways. I am 20 to 25 minutes away from all sight-seeing activities during non-peak hours. I am close to beaches, Coronado Island, La Jolla, Balboa Park, Sea Port Village, Sea World, Downtown San Diego, and near the Marina. I am also near lakes and hiking trails. My property is 1 hour away from the quaint country town of Julian, located in the mountains. My property is nestled in a well-established and quiet area of El Cajon which is also considered Bostonia and/or Granite Hills. Famous t.v. and radio Preacher Dr. Jeremiah holds his church services just down the road from my property. My neighbors are all lovely people. We look out for each other and are kind and courteous to one another. We have a lot of cute local areas to shop. Santee and Lakeside are my favorite. If you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of central downtown or near freeway noise, my place is for you. You can sit out on your private yard and look up at the stars...you can't do that downtown.
House Rules
My rules are pretty simple. If you smoke, smoke outside. Clean up your butts. If you bring a pet, clean up after them. No parties. No Drugs. And no loud noises or music after midnight until 6 a.m. the next morning. I try to always respect my neighbors as they do for me. If you trash my place, I will leave negative reviews and I will charge a cleanup fee. I respect you...you respect me. Easy-peasy.
Suitability
My studio is not really child safe. I have brick steps and furniture that is not child proofed. Children 4 and older should be fine as I have beds and bedding to accommodate them. The studio is perfect for newly-weds, couples vacationing etc. Two adults and two small children will not feel overwhelmed but 4 adults will not be very comfortable. I don't mind if you bring a pet, but I need to know in advance so that I can provide you with pet bedding. I do not want my brand new bed or furniture destroyed by an animal not potty trained or left unattended. A pet deposit is required AND pets must stay with you at all times as I am not a pet sitting service. So, please know that you must take your pet with you when you leave for the day. San Diego is pretty pet-friendly and we have a wonderful dog beach and lots of dog parks around.
