Eric and Candice are incredible hosts! Their cottage is just as beautiful as described and shown in the pictures. When my husband I first arrived, we were greeted by the two of them and given a tour of the cottage. They also provide a bottle of their vineyard wine and olive oil (both are AMAZING)! This wasn't the only gift we received. Eric and Candice kindly prepared a basket of baked goods for breakfast, as well as stocked the fridge with some other items to go along with it. Those kind gestures really went a long way, and we certainly appreciated it! We spent both mornings enjoying the scones, coffee and fresh fruit out on the back patio overlooking the magnificent view. Needless to say, it was absolutely perfect, and we couldn't have asked for something better. Furthermore, they also had a binder put together for their guests with suggestions to local wineries, restaurants, info on olive oil, and general information to know about Paso Robles. We ended up making a picnic and taking it to Sculpterra Winery. Not only was the winery a quick 5-10 minute drive from the cottage, but it turned out to be quite the spectacle! The sculptures there are no joke! We highly recommend checking it out! We definitely would suggest booking this cottage to people who are looking for a quiet, serene and private getaway. :)

One of the best
I would actually rate this a 5 star (+). We recently stayed at the Olive Cottage for 5 nights, I wish it had been longer. We travel extensively and like to stay in rentals and would have to rate this property as one of the nicest ones that we have stayed at. I'm dont think you could get a view much better for watching sunsets in Paso Robles than here. The cottage is very peaceful, beautiful , and comfortable with everything that you would need for your stay and probably one of the cleanest places that we have ever stayed in as well. It was a very nice touch to have some wonderful baked goods and breakfast items to start our stay. We also appreciated that they took the time to do a olive oil tasting for us which we would highly recommend their olive oil. Eric and Candice are a really nice couple , have a beautiful setting and property and I would highly recommend staying at the Olive Cottage.

Beautiful and peaceful
Such an amazing property! We can't wait to return! We enjoyed meals in the backyard among the olive trees and grapevines. The kitchen was fully stocked and Eric was quick to respond if we had a question. The view from the back porch is beautiful! We enjoyed watching the sunset while eating dinner every night. We hiked around the estate and enjoyed the views and wildlife that surrounds the property. The home is lovely. Truly the best vacation we've had in a long time!

A One Bedroom/One Bath vacation rental is offered at Alta Cresta Olive Orchard in our beautiful Tuscan inspired Olive Cottage. Alta Cresta Orchard is a working olive orchard that produces award winning olive oil. It's located in Paso Robles wine country on a high ridge overlooking a picturesque valley of ranches and vineyards. Exclusive and private accommodations are provided in the Olive Cottage which is nestled among Italian varietal olive trees and a small vineyard all within a gated 10 acre estate. The 773 square foot Olive Cottage has a spacious bedroom, bath, living room/dining area and full size kitchen. The bedroom features a king size bed with a cozy comforter, soft hypo-allergenic pillows and Egyptian cotton linens. The bathroom is expansive with a large walk-in shower, a hair dryer, make up mirror, and soft terry robes (his/hers). The living/dining room area has a flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove and keurig coffee maker. Assorted pantry items, K-cup coffee and a variety of teas are provided. Just outside the Cottage is a two burner BBQ for guest use.
