We had a group of folks at this house to celebrate a milestone birthday and had a fantastic time. The house is right on the beach, and we spent countless hours on the front porch taking in the beautiful scenery and on the roof deck watching the sunset. The accommodations were great for our group: lots of flexibility in sleeping arrangements, well stocked kitchen, gas grill, etc. It's a beautiful 5-10 minute walk to the main strip of restaurants and bars in Hermosa Beach, so access if very easy. Yvonne was very accessible and helpful throughout. I hope to get back soon and often.

Awesome vacation
We had a wonderful stay at Yvonne's Hermosa home! Waking up each morning and being able to step out to the beach was just amazing. The home is lovely and offered everything we needed - a nice kitchen, a washer/dryer, grills, and beds galore. The rooftop deck was so fun to hang out on with views of the bay for miles. We had a great time exploring the piers and enjoying a quintessential southern California beach cities!

Simply Charming!!!
My wife and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary this year and we wanted to do something special with our family. We visited the VRBO website looking for some suggestions. We love California so we ended up looking at Yvonne’s Strand property in Hermosa Beach. We were immediately hooked. My family agreed so we booked our reservation directly with Yvonne. She answered all our questions and was always available either by e-mail or by telephone. With that being said, my family (wife, two daughters their spouses and my two grandsons) were ready to experience the Strand. The house is in a perfect location. A corner lot at one end of the Strand. The flow of heavy bike, skateboard and jogging traffic is minimized because of the house’s location, perfect for families, but still alive with activity. We practically had a private beach directly across the street from the house which was a delight for my two toddler grandsons. The beach was not crowded, very relaxing, impeccably clean and well maintained. Yvonne provides beach chairs, beach toys, canopy and wagon. Ideal for beach goers. The house itself has tremendous charm, character and appeal. The décor in each room is very specific and the art work on the walls is something to behold. Very impressive and relaxing. The spiral staircases leading to the upstairs bar and roof area are exceptionally well placed adding to the beautiful décor. Fresh flowers adorn every room, a nice touch provided by Yvonne. The great room is the center of activity. It is spacious, full of life, well-lit and the center of all functions. My family had a wonderful vacation and Yvonne is a gracious host. We thank her. Looking forward to returning to this gorgeous house.

Unforgettable
Incredible house and location. I live in Chicago now, but grew up in LA - I always like to stay in this area when visiting every year, and this house has been by far the best we have stayed at. Yvonne is awesome - a ton of fun and super responsive. Tons of indoor and outdoor entertaining space, a great rooftop, and the house has so much overall character. No need for a car - walking/biking distance from all local attractions, grocery store, convenience store, etc. We won't even think twice about staying anywhere else!

Beachfront home has 4 bedrooms and 4 bath. Upstairs bedrooms have HDTV with DVD, cable channels, HBO, and High speed wireless internet. We sleep 11 people comfortably.
We have 12 bikes all sizes, boogie boards, footballs, volleyballs, beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas. The roof deck has 4 Moroccan tables with umbrellas and an enclosed glass bar with fridge, toaster and coffee maker. All towels and bedding are high thread counts. Three spiral Staircases lead to the roof deck. Kids just love the blue room full of pillows at the top of the turret.
Parking is for 4 to 5 cars. We have a wood burning fireplace and a 52 inch big screen in the Great Room. Home has a new Bertazzoni professional stove and a new washer and dryer. 1 gas grill and 1 Weber charcoal grill. The entire property is gated. Our home is located on a corner walk street and is right on The Strand in Hermosa Beach. Family Weekends, Weddings, Spa Weekends, Corporate Retreats reunions and all sorts gatherings are held here.
Please send us the details of what you are planning. Because of the nature of the home we have too many inquiries to show it. It would be a full time job. So...after the home is booked and paid for, you are welcome to come in.

Rate is $2000 per night, minimum 2 night stay. $12000/wk $400 cleaning fee and $2500 refundable damage deposit are required year round.
The Coach House is an airy one bedroom sits just behind a bigger house on The Hermosa Strand. This house does have an ocean view and breeze and a deck on two sides. Two lower level patios are also included in the rental. It is a separate house with its own entrance. Not attached to front house. Two sets of French doors bring the outside in.. The house has two flat screen televisions and a full kitchen. The 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom has a king bed. We have a very comfortable sofa in the living room. The rate is $600 per night. Cleaning is $250. $1500 Refundable damage deposit is required.
