For the adventure seekers and golfers, golf carts can be rented and conveniently delivered right to your condo for Treasure Cay's Golf Course is just half a mile away!

This lovely community offers 2 pools, 2 heated spas and a pool for the kids. Golf carts available...Marina access across the street.

Social life of Treasure Cay can be what you make it. Peace and quiet or activities to keep you busy all day. The community is a golf cart community, but everything is within walking distance. A golf cart will let you explore the entire cay and make those trips to the shopping center a little easier. There is a food store, a liquor store, post office and other convenience shops at the town center. The dive shop and boat rentals are around the marina. Whatever you decide to do, don't forget Pizza Night at Tipsy Bar on Thursdays and the Sunday Pig Roast at the world-famous Nippers on Great Guana.

About The Area

Treasure Cay is a "walk-to", sleepy little town that has been named as having one of the TEN most beautiful beaches in the world by National Geographic magazine.  The island has phone service, bad TV, and the Internet.  Other than that, it has changed little over the years.  The alternate mode of transportation is golf cart or bike of which both can be rented there.  The marina is across the street and has fishing charters, boat rentals, a dive and snorkel shop, restaurant and open-air bar.  Next door to the marina in the town center, are the grocery store, liquor store, bakery and the bike and golf cart rentals.  There’s a golf course about a half mile down the road.  A lot of people do not realize that the Bahamas are made up of 700 islands.  Besides Treasure Cay, there are islands that are only accessible by boat or ferry.  These are fun to explore.  Elbow Cay, Green Turtle, and Guana Cay are ones we would recommend as starters.  If you rent your own boat, there are also many uninhabited islands to play Robinson Caruso on.  You can hire a fishing charter that will take you fishing and then to an uninhabited island to prepare your catch for lunch.  Guana Cay has a beach bar and grill that has a Pig Roast on Sunday that you can ferry over to on Prozac, the ferry boat out of Treasure Cay Marina.  The world's 3rd largest barrier reef is off their beach and you can snorkel right off the beach.  There are umbrellas and chairs at the Bahama Beach Club beach free of charge for you to use but are on a first-come, first-served basis.  There are also charcoal grills available outside each building that are on a first-come, first serviced bases. There is also a pool bar and grill there as well.  There is a fresh water shower to rinse off and then go to dinner.  Swim suits are the most common attire.

Treasure Cay is one of the safest and friendliest family islands located in the Northern Bahamas on Great Abaco.

Family Celebration of 30th Anniversary

Wow! What a wonderful week my family recently experienced at Treasure Cay. Sugar Shack was the icing on the cake. Elegantly furnished but most comfortable and perfectly located literally a few steps from the beach. Bahama Beach Club amenities were abundant. I can't say anymore-it was just perfect. Highly recommend.

Family group of 16

Every one of our kids and grandchildren individually said this was their favorite vacation. It was laid back, low pressure, and FUN! Great accommodations in three condos with one of the most beautiful beaches in the world out the door.

wonderful location and condo

We did not have the best weather but the beach was beautiful and the condo was not only comfortable but beautifully furnished. This is a great place to come for a relaxing vacation but not a shopping trip. (great for the pocket book if you have teens) We can't wait to come back.

2 Weeks in Paradise!

Wow, that was a great stay. I'd give it 10 starts in the rating if we could. We travel somewhere every year to get out of the cold, so we've seen some places in the past 30 years. You know how you see pictures before you go and then when you get there you say "well ok, the pictures were from when it was new" and move on... Well the pictures and description don't even come close to capturing how beautiful and wonderful this property is. The unit was super spacious, very clean, professionally decorated, and very well furnished. We had everything we needed during our stay. It was above and beyond what we expected. Next, Treasure Cay and all of the Abaco's are NOT what you get in the lower Bahamas. This place is peaceful. Lots of AMs we'd walk the beach and there would be only 3 or 4 other couples walking in a 3.5 mi stretch. There are a handful of good/great restaurants near by and on the property. All had wonderful food and super staff. We ate our fill of Caribbean Lobster, conch, and fish and never had a bad meal anywhere. Beyond the beach, there are plenty of things to explore as well. We rented bikes and golf carts and toured around. We took ferries and boats to the outer islands to see some more beaches and taste the "specials" from the local bars. We body surfed one day of Guana Cay. We swam in a "blue hole". We rented a few one-man hobe cats and had a little sailing regatta. Did some sea kayaking. We saw alot but it was great to be "home" each night and we ended each day in the hot tub, resting our bones and sipping on a nice tropical concoction. We will be back.

Great condo

This condo is decorated very nicely. The kitchen had all the amenities you will need. Why this end building is not facing the beach directly I do not understand, but there is still a very nice view from the patio. The couch in the living room (even though we did not use it much) was probalby one of the most comfortable couches I have ever sat on. The patio furniture was nice and room enough for the six people in my party. Beds were comfortable, and the air coditioning worked well. The water pressure in the showers was not very strong but it's like that almost everywhere in the Bahamas. If we ever stay at Bahama Beach Club again we will definitely rent this condo again. Highly recommended.

Breathtaking:))

the property is amazing! Everyone was friendly and the condo was neat and clean! We will be back!!!!! Restaurants I recommend are the Treasure Sands Club, Coco's & Florence's bakery. We rented a boat with JIC Boat Rental, caught lots of fish and Florence cooked it for us, YUM! The food and service at the Bahama Beach Pool Bar & Grill was outstanding! Taco night was amazing with fresh Lobster and Grouper.

Spectacular

Our family (my husband, two daughters, and in-laws) stayed for a week at this beautiful, well equipped villa. Everything was fresh and clean when we arrived and we had no trouble settling in for a great vacation. We were so thrilled, on the second day of our vacation, we were already thinking about when we were going to come back! Thank you for opening your beautiful home to our family!
