In addition it has two outside spaces one in the back, more secluded and another in the front. The living room opens up to the frontyard furnitured to have meals outside or just relax and enjoy the sunset.
In the frontyard there's a lemon tree with lemons and a garden with kitchen herbs like, basil, coriander, tyme, parsely.
It is set in a quite street, 400m away from the town gate (medieval town of Óbidos) and 700m from the motorway junction A8 that connects Lisbon to Leiria, Aveiro, Santarém, Oporto, and other major cities.
This area is very well known in Portugal and one of the town most visited from tourists, although it can hardly be noticed in the house.
It is quite central with excellent bus service, and very close to golf course and resorts, beaches, surf activities, sportive fishing, bird watching, hicking, horseriding
The town has several cultural activities throughout the year such as chocolate festival, Christmas animation, medieval market on the summer weekends (from thursday to sunday) with street animation, opera festival, piano week, theater, music events.
The house is located close to a supermarket, swimming pool complex, health clinic medical centre, and museums.
On sunday there's a "Velharias" Market (Fleamarket) in a garden that can be seen from the house, 200m away.
