Minimum StayPerfect apartment – highly recommend
In short the apartment is fantastic and played a major part in our first trip to Lisbon being very memorable. Location - within walking distance of everything: restaurants, cafes, bars, food market, supermarket, shopping, public transport. Walk directly north and you are in Bairro alto and walk towards the north-west to reach Chiado. The apartment looks over a picturesque square and despite initial impressions of the surrounding streets appearing a little 'tired' you quickly appreciate that this is merely the character and charm of Lisbon. Owners - extremely professional and accommodating. Prior to arriving, all emails were answered promptly and conscientiously. Check in was handled efficiently where we were offered advice on Lisbon and made aware that we could ask for further help/tips during our trip if necessary. We took advantage of this offer by asking for restaurant recommendations through email, which (again) was answered promptly and conscientiously whereby the owners offered two recommendations, both of which proved to be excellent restaurants. In addition, we were welcomed with a bottle of wine bought by the owners. Check out was equally efficient and the owners were kind enough to hail us a taxi to the airport and ensured that we were not taken advantage of as tourists through overcharging (which I've heard is common in Lisbon). Apartment itself - Wow! The apartment is huge and very attractive! What really struck me is that it's clear the owners have gone above board by decorating the place to a high standard and included several 'homely' touches to make your stay comfortable. The apartment is equipped with everything you'd need and more. What also struck me is how light and airy the whole apartment is during the day and how cosy and relaxing it can be by night. It really is a perfect place if you're looking for more than just a place to put your head down (i.e. bed sit).

A sheer delight!!
Well I haven't stopped raving about this place since I got back, it really is so well presented - light and spacious with all mod-cons a lovely little square to look out onto and less than a 5 minute walk to the metro/ rail station a fabulous market selling all fresh produce located just behind the square. Although situated on the 3rd floor this was not a problem as the building also has a fully functioning lift...a rarity so I'm told!! Sergio and Susana couldn't have been more helpful either, from the start with my initial enquiry right through to our arrival at the apartment and a lovelier lady would be hard to find! I hope you enjoy you're stay in this fabulous city as much as we did!

Excellent and classy!
Our stay at this great flat was awesome. It is delightful, charming, spacious and sunny with a wonderful view of the "Praca de Sao Paulo". It is tastefully furnished with quality and comfort and very well equipped (+ wifi + cable TV). It was home away from home, we did not miss anything. The place is very well located and well connected, only few minutes walking to metro, tram and bus station or the local train station! But it is also perfect located to discover Lisbon on foot, most attractions are within walking distance. You will be near the river, beautiful monuments and churches, museums, old cafes, theatres, shops and restaurants, and still can enjoy the local atmosphere through the big windows giving to "Praca de Sao Paulo". Everything was perfect and Susanna and Sergio are great hosts. They are very friendly and helpful, gave us lots of tips and made our stay in Lisbon easy and convenient. We would definitely stay here again and we will recommand it with pleasure to our friends .

Sergio & Susanna, thank you for everything!! For a perfect time I had in beautiful Lisbon! I'll be back; can I spend my sabbatical there? The mix of perfect location, a calm oasis in the middle of romantic, lively, happening Lisbon; the amazing light on the houses, the nostalgic feel of the historic part; high speed wi-fi, mohitos on the beach, shop till you drop in the Chiado, the fresh food markets close by, the morning coffees in the little cafe close by.. right, packing now.

Great house, unforgettable vacation
Beautiful house, well located and very well decorated, exactly what we sought for our family vacation. We could not be more pleased. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. This elegant, spacious, sunny apartment has modern comforts though it is in a period building in historic Lisbon. Tall ceilings, original wood floor, abundant light, and a lift/elevator, a rarity in the old part of town. It looks out directly onto the Praca de Sao Paulo, a beautiful square with a church. Its located very close to the river and the charming districts of Chiado, Bairro Alto, Alfama, and Baixa.
Within 2 minutess walk, be at the river, metro/underground, Lisbons largest market, train to Estoril/Cascais, several supermarkets and various restaurants and cafes. Within 5 minutes walk be in Chiado, Bairro Alto, Praca do Comercio, theatres, elegant shops, viewpoints over historic Lisbon and the castle.
This is a beautifully restored apartment, with 2 bedrooms and one other which is a walk-in closet, and sleeps up to 7. The living room is large and spacious with high ceiling (about 3.2 meteres) with ornate stucco, and lots of sunlight as it is south-facing to the plaza. The kitchen is large and fully equipped and open to the dining area providing an excellent large space to enjoy or entertain. 2 WCs with shower including a bathtub. The living room has an excellent brand new sofabed allowing a comfortable sleep for 2.
The apartment is equipped with heating and air conditioning, has free interent (wifi or ethernet) and cable with international channels through a brand new 46" LED HD SmartTV. The kitchen has all new appliances. The apartment has recently been fully renovated and decorated to very elegant style.
It is on a 3rd floor; there is a lift, which stops at half-landings (about 10 steps). No smoking, please.
The apartment is privately owned by us, a professional couple with a few apartments we have done up ourselves and take great pride and happiness in making available to guests. We will receive you personally and show you around and how everything works, point you in the direction of places you want to visit, and tell you about the neighborhood.
