www.casayaxiik.com - a 3 floor, 3 bedroom eco-chick villa located in the new, luxury housing development of Aldea Zama, Tulum. It takes up to 9 people and is perfectly located just a short bicycle ride or 5 minute drive from the hotel zone of Tulum, attractions, commercial areas, archaeological sites and of course some of the world’s most beautiful beaches along the Caribbean Sea. Casa Yaxiik is very well equipped with complimentary bathroom supplies for the beginning of your stay as well as linens, 16 beach towels, bath towels etc - so no need to worry about bringing yours. Also private washing machine, dryer and dish washer for you to use during your stay.
Complementary wifi as well as 49 inch curved LED TV with cable TV incl International channels.
1st Level: Main entrance, living/dining room connected to private deck/terrace, half bath, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, and electrical range with an oven and hood. The kitchen has an island with 8 chairs, perfect for long dinners among good friends.
2nd Level: 2 x double luxurious bedrooms each of them with queen size bed and sofa bed, great views, complete private bathrooms.
3rd Level: Master Suite bedroom with sing size bed and full bathroom. The private rooftop terrace has its own private Jaquizzi and offers the perfect place to enjoy the sunset or lounge away the afternoon with a glass of wine in the shade of the pergola.
Minisplit A/C units in all areas.
The private deck, the private roof-top balcony and the outdoor areas provides a great outdoor space where you can enjoy a meal, relax and get outdoors without leaving home.
In the common area, you have full access to 2 pools and sunbeds, palapa and barbeque area.
Private parking right outside the door, as well as public parking outside the main entrance.
We, Jardar & Jossie, spend a lot of time in the Riviera Maya area, and decided to get a property in Tulum - an Eco-Tourism paradise in the Mexican Caribbean and for us the most exciting destination in the area. Recently ranked as one of the most beautiful destinations in Mexico, Tulum has become a world-class tourist destination with an enviable climate.
For a long time we have been dreaming of having our own house in this area, and Casa Yaxiik was finally completed December 1st, 2016 - a new, modern Eco-chic villa in the Aldea Zama area. We chose this area for several reasons, one of them its location. This is the residential area being closest to the world class beaches of Tulum. At the opposite direction, we are also very close to Tulum Centre with all its cozy restaurants, charming boutiques and lively bars - all about 5-10 min bicycle ride from Casa Yaxiik.
When we are not using it ourselves, we want to share it with others and will do what we can for you to fall in love with Tulum in the same way we did.
Jardar is Norwegian, Jossie is from Monterrey, Mexico - where we currently live with our 3 boys. We have a big network in the Riviera Maya area, and know the area very well. Do not hesitate to ask if you want any tips or need help with reservations for restaurants, excursions, beach-club passes.
Due to our network in the area, we can offer you additional services as f.ex private-local chef and/or bartender to the property or if you want spoil yourself with spa services in your own room in Casa Yaxiik. We also cooperate with a local tour operator and would be happy to offer you reliable and economic airport shuttle for up to 10 people from Cancun Airport to Casa Yaxiik. We do also offer you 6 alternative excursions, eventually including private van to/from the house. You can request a few of these options within the “additional services” section on this webpage.
At arrival you will be met by ,our property manager, Daniela who is a local and lives in the area. She speaks perfect English, and also knows the area very well. Daniella is also more than happy to help you with any requests you may have before or during your stay. If we want cleaning services during your stay, this can be offered at a low additional daily cost.
