The four hundred year house has recently been renovated while retaining all original features such as solid stone walls, beams, fireplaces and the like. The house is so big that it nicely accommodates 29 guests in its 10 bedrooms. The total numbers of bathrooms are six. There is a 10 m. high and 300 sq. m. beamed barn paved with indigenous stone dedicated for guest use. For guests, the house has extensive gardens, courtyard animals (ducks, dogs, chickens, goats, sheep, pigs, ponies and rabbits) and an orchard.
Facing south, the building brings some of the striking views of the hills of the Colli Berici to the west side, a river, and our farmland, 15 acres vineyards to the east and to the north the courtyard garden of the Villa.
Things to See:
One of the finest places to visit here is Vicenza, a historic town only 17 kilometers from the farm and the cycle track is only 9 km. Biking, hiking and climbing can be done in the Berici hills that are just 2 km away from the farm. Lumignano is a popular area for climbing. Drive 25 km to reach the Spa towns of Montegrotto Terme and Abano.
Other Nearest Areas to Visit:
Drive an hour to reach Venice town, which is only 65 km away. Other important places such as Verona and Vicenza just need 65 km away from the farm. Padova is just half an hour drive away. Florence is just 2.30 hours drive away. Lake Garda and the Altopiano of Asiago are 100 km and 70 km far from the farm.
The apartment can be taken on rent separately or together depending on the travelers. A 110 sq. m. communal room with bathroom and kitchen adjacent to the apartments can be rented upon request. The apartments give instant access to the 1st floor communal room. There is a communal laundry room with iron, iron board, clothes drying facilities, 2 washing sinks and one washing machine.
