The apartment is very warm and comfortable. It\'s upon two levels, situated at first floor inside the building. At the entrance the living room with firewall and a sofa bed, with a nice kitchen; at the second floor 2 bedrooms and the bathroom with shower. It\'s full furnished and you\'ll find all you need for a great vacation. A swimming pool 12 x 7 mt. is situated very close to the Castle, inside an area with bathrooms and changing rooms and all around a lot of olive trees. To arrive there a nice walk, passing near the old Church. The Castle has been very well restored 14 years ago.
The Castle of Gaiche is part of one of the 234 castles that are Umbria\'s patrimony. The first news on the Castle go back to the 11th century. Castri Gaicorum was one of the 46 castles of the rural area of Perugia and it is the most antique of Umbria\'s castles survived until our days. At the beginning of 1200 it constituted into independent republic and such remained for about two centuries. Gaiche merits to be remembered not only for its historical vicissitudes but above all for its statute of the year 1318, the most antique of Umbria, and to have given birth to the blessed Leopoldo.
Inside the apartment you will find many thinghs for your first needs, as water, wine, salt, coffee, oil, pasta, for your arriving during the night or shopping days off.
There is a computer available for all your stay inside the apartment with free internet connection. A warm atmosphere is waiting for you.
Swimming pool is available from the beginning of May to mid of October. Please bring your own pool towels, or ask to the owner to provide with an extra fee.
In few minutes by car you can arrive to the shopping places, in Castiglion Fosco and Tavernelle, in which you have a very nice small market, a pharmacy, a bar with tobacco, a post office and a gasoline service.

The washing machine is situated in the swimming pool area and is shared with the others owners of the condominium in a common area.
During winter time you could have woods for firewall, on request with additional charges, asking in advance.
We could have also a nice apartment to rent in the centre of Città della Pieve, close to Gaiche. In a very prestigious historical building we rent an very nice apartment at the first floor with a living room a kitchen and a bedroom, a bathroom with shower. All furnished and very well equiped. Furniture very prestigious. To rent for weeks and week end.
