The trip lasts 2 hours until the harbor of Gavrio on Andros and from there we can have a hired car waiting for you or we can pick you up. The distance from the port to the house is about 40 minutes driving with direction to Chora. You follow the main road of the island. At Chora you can find restaurants with local and other Greek food, fast foods and cafes. You can also follow numbered walking routes with a perfect view and a lot of interest thinks to see. As the lake with butterflies, watermills and so on. There is a club of cycling. They do a lot of routes to different places on the island which you can follow.
The first apartment at the ground floor has one built -double bed bedroom and thr sitting room has also 2 built-single beds and fully equipped kitchen.
The upper apartment has 2 bedrooms, one with 1 double bed and 1 with 2 double beds. Sitting room with a fire place and fully equipped kitchen. Both apartments have private terrace and a gorgeous view to the main town of the island which is built on a long rock in the sea and where also exists a castle of Venetian ages. The main town is only 2,5 km from the house. It's a distance, you can make by car in 5' or by motorbike and on foot in about 50 minutes through the Nr. 3 route of the island, which starts from our house. There you can find anything. There are a lot of shops in the main road with traditional thinks, restaurants, cafes and museums, where every summer, there are exhibitions with artworks of very famous artists. There is also a nautical museum.
