Villa St. Marko lies in the center of Selce and is one of the eldest buildings there with the protective status of Ministry of culture. It was built around 1850 and is since then owned by our family. In 2006 it was completely renovated mainly to preserve it, but also to increase the comfort of staying there. The Villa lies only about one hundred meters from shore, the first beach is less then twohundred meters away from the first beach, and a small grocery-store is less then 20 meters away from the front door. The Villa St. Marko was restaurated and decorated wih a lot of love in a rustical stile. Each floor tells you it's own story through small details and it's interiour. The house has four levels, four bed-rooms, four bedrooms, one konoba and a winecellar - that still looks the same as it did 150 years ago, 3 balcony/terraces - one with a beautiful view at the old town and the island Krk
