It is ideal to explore the city because of its vicinity to the harbor and main bus station. Gruz is located Northwest of the City and is an attractive passenger vessel port and a marina.
The historic quarter can easily be reached with the public bus which stops across the street or only a 20-30 minute walk from Dubrovnik's Old Town and the beaches in Lapad Bay. The UNESCO-protected Old Town offers many landmark sites. Some of them include the Town Walls, Onofrio's Fountain and Stradun Promenade and a cable car with panoramic views of the surrounding islands.
Apartment has one bedroom with double bed, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room and private furnished terrace where you can enjoy drinking your morning coffee. Fully equipped kitchen provides you everything you migh need to prepare yourself a refreshing meal such as fridge, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, stove, oven and kitchem utensils. Bathroom has shower, bidet and hairdryer. Apartment also provides a free Wi-Fi, LCD TV, SAT/TV and A/C. We highly recommend to visit open market which is 100 m from the apartment. The open-air market in Gruz is a vibrant, busy market where everyone comes to buy fresh ingredients for today's lunch or dinner. Gruz market is mainly known as a fish market, where you can buy fresh fish that just came in from the sea, off the fishing boats. You can buy some fresh fish, shrimps, squids or an octopus and go for a great dinner! While you are there, fresh vegetables and fruits from local farmers are also available. Some stands already open around 6:30 in the morning, but most off them just before 8:00 o'clock when the locals start „shopping“. In the summer the working hours are longer, approximately until 15:00 with the flower stands working even later. Of course, the earlier you get there, the better.
