Designed to capture the serene lake views from all principal rooms, this expansive 6000+ foot Muskoka home brings the outdoors in to beautiful effect. 200 pine beams, antique hemlock floors, stone-faced fireplaces, and pine wainscotting and trim add rustic, but elegant touches throughout the home. The Muskoka Room is the pièce de resistance, with walls of pine-framed windows filled with sunlight and carrying the cool lake breeze into the home - the perfect spot to relax with a book and enjoy cottage living. Catch the breeze from the rocking chairs on the back porch where you can sit back, relax and bask in the unbeatable views sunrise to sunset.
The 4 large bedrooms can sleep up to 12 and include a luxurious master suite with private sitting room and a gorgeous en-suite for the perfect romantic retreat. Equally romantic is the guest suite with private sitting area and bath, and a convenient separate entrance. Two additional bedrooms with bright colours and modern decor feature 2 twin beds plus cot in each room for extra adult or child guests.The formal living room is a natural gathering space with large, plush sofas centred on a floor-to-ceiling stone-faced, wood burning fireplace. The family room is equally comfortable with a second stone-faced gas fireplace and is an ideal hangout space for the kids or kids at heart. Fun for all can be found in the games room just off the garage, equipped with pool table, comfy couches and refrigerator for refreshments.
The expansive 4000 foot wrap-around deck is the heart of the home in summertime and a brilliant space for outdoor entertaining with two built-in BBQ's and an outdoor kitchen prep area.The hot tub deck looks through the tall pines to the lake, and is a private and serene spot to unwind at day's end. A walk among the towering pines and along the lake brings you to the gazebo on the tip of the peninsula, where the breeze and water views are perfect for quiet meditation. A private fenced-in sports court is equipped for tennis or basketball. Two 20’ X 30’ swimming/boating docks feature both shallow water and deep water entry (perfect for both cannonballs and wakeboarding) The bonfire rock pit welcomes avid marshmallows toasters and ghost story tellers while the brilliant Northern sky sparkles above.
