This well-appointed home is walking distance to downtown Victoria, the Inner Harbour, Craigdarroch Castle, Victoria Art Gallery and a lovely stroll to Cook Street Village and the beach. We are central and convenient to all downtown amenities.
The house boasts 2600 sq ft of comfortable west coast living over three storeys and five bedrooms.
The main floor has the two bedrooms (queen beds) and a sunny 'open concept' living space with a kitchen, sunroom, dining room and living room with electric fireplace and huge skylight. This floor is ideal for visiting, relaxing, watching TV and cooking big meals. Our kitchen is stocked with everything one would need and the dining room table has many leaves to seat up to ten people.
The top floor is the master bedroom with a king size bed and a two piece bathroom (no shower/bath). It has two skylights and a calm and peaceful feel to it. It is very private from the rest of the house.
The lower floor is a 1.5 bedroom self-contained suite. It has a full kitchen and bathroom (standing glass shower), TV and laundry. There is a queen size bed in the main room and a double bed in the small bedroom. This lower suite has 6’4” ceilings and laminate flooring. It sleeps four.
From Jan-May we will rent the upper three bedroom suite separately (see rates for pricing). If you would like the entire house, pls let me know and I will send you a quote.
From Jun-Sept we rent the entire five bedroom house as one unit for $700/night for ten people. It can sleep ten in bedrooms and up to 16 people on pullout sofa, sleeping mats and twin bed in the sunroom for an additional $25/person per night.
There is a wonderful sunroom that catches afternoon and evening sun. There are some sitting chairs and a bed for napping and even sleeping.
The backyard is private and has a croquet set and some lawn chairs. There is also a wooden patio with a propane fire pit and a BBQ coming in Spring 2015.
We accept most pets but they must stay outside or in the sunroom. We have a huge school field beside us, great for walking the pooch (or the kids!). Please let us know about your pet (size, temperament, shedding) if you would like to bring them and know it's an additional $100/pet fee.
Wireless internet, laundry, four car driveway, very clean, ideal location for those wanting to be close to all the amenities. Private backyard for sunny afternoons and relaxing. Bus stop across the street.
Not only a great vacation spot but a comfortable temporary home for those on the road. Perfect for longer stays and entertaining.
In case additional sleeping space is needed, we have 4” sleeping mats and a double pull-out sofa in the living room.
