Nice, clean, comfortable
Had a nice stay at this house. House was clean and everything was in good condition. Kitchen had everything we needed. Wi-fi worked great. Beaches are quite close with multiple access points - both car or bike work fine. Outside shower was nice to keep sand away from the house. Grounds around property are very well maintained. Mosquitoes could be quite vicious at dusk so use enclosed porch. This is an island and is indeed a bit isolated. But there is a decent (a bit pricey) grocery store and restaurants.

Comfortable, clean,well equipped ,relaxing home
This rental home met and exceeded our expectations for a family vacation. Loved sitting on the porch , watching the golfers and listening to the birds . The location was perfect , we played golf, rode the bicycles at the villa and did a kayak tour at the nearby Edisto watersports

Lovely stay
House was very nice & well stocked with everything we needed. It was our 1st time in SC & we came from IL so I was worried about what to bring, what not to bring. Decided to pack lighter & worked out perfect because the house had what we needed. Only wished it was closer to the beach...otherwise I would definitely recommend the house to anyone.

Edisto Honeymoon!
This rental was excellent! Very clean & well stocked. Perfect for our honeymoon. ...the beach was not crowded, weather was mostly cooperative, and there was just enough to do. A quick trip to Charleston was also enjoyable. We would highly recommend!

Quiet, Relaxing, Awesome Villa
We loved our stay! Your villa had anything one needs for time away from home...like being at home with no worries or chores! The weather was great and the neighborhood was lovely and quite. Only a short drive to the beach and a great location for walking and riding our bikes. Definitely a must return for us! Great for people with allergies since there are no pets allowed!!

Beautiful Island
This was our third time renting on Edisto but the first for February and this house. We stayed the whole month and it was pretty quiet with just a few renters around but the restaurants were open and the beaches deserted. We cooked most of our meals with the wonderful selection of seafood at our fingertips. The shrimp and cluster oysters never disappoint. The house was very comfortable, warm and bright. The weather this year was not ideal with lots of rain and chilly temperatures but I did manage to get in several bike rides. I would not hesitate to recommend this house with it's great location and easy walking distance to the sound. I loved going up to the loft and reading on the dreary days. I did wish the main bathroom had a handicap bar to hold onto seeing the tub is rather deep. I did feel unsteady at times. Other than that, it was perfect. Note: if anyone is interested in putting together the cat puzzle, it's missing 3 pieces

Beautiful week at Edisto
We had a wonderful week in Edisto and much of the pleasure was due to our accommodations. These owners have thought of everything from a fully stocked kitchen to beach bikes, chairs, etc. to make a stay delightful and stress-free. The beds were so comfortable and cozy. Everything was clean and up to date. The weather was perfect. We saw porpoise, eagle, egrets, pelicans, herons and more birds that we couldn't identify. We found neat shells. What fun. And, one of the best parts of our experience was dealing with Roseann, the owner. She is a most helpful individual and wants to make sure everything is perfect for your stay. Thanks, Roseann! You are the best!

Tremendous Beach Experience
We had a wonderful time. The accommodations were clean and newly updated. Everything worked as it should. The kitchen was as fully stocked with utensils as you would need for a vacation. Best I have ever seen in similar situation. They thought of everything. Bikes were provided, which adds to a nice bit to the beach experience. Pools and beach are a close walk or bike ride. Very nice neighborhood withing a wonderful country club setting. A+A+A+ Hopefully we will be back soon.

Wonderful Week At Edisto
This condo is a perfect place to stay while on Edisto. The location is quiet, shady and close to swimming at Bay Point. They provide all the comforts and are very clean and organized. The owner was a jewel and wonderful to work with. The beds were so cozy and the mattresses very comfortable. The layout of the condo was just perfect for our family of three and daughter. I have rented every year a place at the beach and this was our favorite of all. We cooked every meal at home and the kitchen had everything you need, well stocked. Also, there was an outdoor shower and large garage with all the beach items you would ever need. We are returning for sure!

June in Edisto
A lovely stay. Our children said this was the best place we've stayed. Everything was clean and well kept. The owner was a pleasure to rent from. The condo had everything we needed plus some. I insisted on taking our own bicycles which was not necessary. The bicycles at the condo were in great condition as were the beach gear and toys (we left some additional for the next visitors).

Wonderful Vacation
My husband, son, sister, nephew, and I spent a wonderfully relaxing vacation at this lovely condo. It was exceptionally clean, well furnished, and stocked with everything you need (besides towels and sheets). The owner provided the most thorough details about the rental and her expectations, including a full inventory of items available at the condo, that I've ever seen. The amenities pass for the resort was an added bonus. We love Edisto and were extremely satisfied with this location as a base for our adventures, and I'm sure we'll be returning the first time we get the chance!

Great Family Time
This is the third or fourth time that we have stayed in this home and each time we have been more that pleased. The accommodations are great! The house is always neat and clean, well equipped, and very organized. Edisto is one of our favorite places to go and relax. This house makes it even easier since there are no pets and no smoking - great for everyone. We always have plenty of room and lots of great things to do while we are there. We love the local places to eat - especially McConkey's! Great golf course in Wyndham and the pools are nice too. It is a short drive to the beach. We can't say enough great things about this house and this location! We will definitely be back!!!

Come and visit an old fashioned beach community, similar to what you knew as a child. Sunbathe on the beautiful, quiet beaches; hunt for shells and shark teeth while you walk along the shore. Play a round of golf; catch up on your tennis. Bring home your own freshly caught dinner when you fish along the surf. Or crab or shrimp in the island's back marshes. Our villa is located on the golf course of Ocean Ridge Resort, on Edisto Island.This spacious unit has two bedrooms and an open sleeping loft. With two queen-size beds and two singles, it will sleep a total of six guests. There are two bathrooms - including a master bathroom with a whirlpool tub. Special features include ceiling fans in every room, vaulted ceilings and a screened porch with a great view of the golf course. PLEASE NOTE---This is a PET FREE rental due to very bad asthma and pet allergies throughout our family! Thank you for your understanding and please do not ask us to make exceptions. Thanks in advance. We are also a SMOKE FREE rental. Please do not smoke in the house or on the screened porch. Smoking is very bad for people with asthma also. We have a fully stocked kitchen. I do a lot of cooking, so just about anything you can find in my kitchen, you can find in our vacation home kitchen. I include the most up to date house inventory list as part of the information packet that I send to each potential guest. Some staples are in the kitchen, like spices, salt and pepper. Also sandwich bags, aluminum foil and plastic wrap at the beginning of the season. There is usually DW detergent under the sink too There is room for at least 2 cars in the carport directly underneath the house. Located under the house to the right side of the carport, there is a picnic table and old fashioned swing and the out door totally enclosed shower.
About The Area
Edisto is one of the few beaches that remains free of comercialization where you can still enjoy a slower lifestyle known as "Island Time" . Rest and relax at your own pace. Spend a lazy day on the beach just sunning and watching the dolphins swim by as the tides change or the pelicans dive for their food. Walk along the beach and collect shells to your heart's content. Fish on the surf, the sound , the creek or the lagoons. Spend a morning or afternoon crabbing for your dinner. Take a tour of the island or visit a museum. Use our amenities pass and enjoy all that the resort has to offer, 3 pools, a hot tub, tennis courts, mini golf and a weight room. Try some of our great local restaurants or buys some local seafood and make your own fantastic dinner at home. When you're ready for some sigtseeing off the island, visit one of the major cities like Charleston,SC located just 1 hour north or a day trip to Savannah, GA, just 2 hours south. Both cites are packed full of history, restaurants, shopping and entertainment! It's your vacation........ do whatever you want, just enjoy!!!!!!

Maximum occupancy is 6 people, this includes adults, children and babies.
No house parties allowed. NO excessive noise after 11PM.
No Grilling under the carport, only in front of the house.

This house is suitable for couples, families, girls' getaways, 55 and older, guys' getaways. NOT suitable for most mobility impared guests. There are 14 steps to climb to the front door.
